English Premier League is the top level of the English football league system. There are 20 teams compete in this league at this time. Seasons usually run from August to May with each team playing 38 matches (playing all 19 other teams both home and away).
The competition was founded as the FA Premier League on 20 February 1992. The league is a corporation in which the member clubs act as shareholders, and nowadays it generates €2.2 billion per year in domestic and international television rights.
Manchester City is the Champion of last 4 seasons. It is a challenge to other teams, especially Arsenal, the runner up of last 2 seasons, to dethrone Manchester City. Tough tasks.
Premier League Season 2024/25
Season 2024/2025 will start at August 16. Manchester United will try to bounce back. Manchester City will defend their title. Chelsea looks promising with their youngster. Liverpool and Arsenal will try to get on top after being the runner ups for last 3 seasons. Tottenham will try to contend since beginning of the season. Expect surprises from Aston Villa and other teams.
